Heroes Above Us was founded with the intent of honoring men and women killed in action or combat-related actions by allowing a fallen Hero's family to be able to see firsthand the appreciation of the service member's community for their sacrifice. Heroes Above Us plans community events to recognize the ultimate sacrifice that each Hero has made in serving their country, including a balloon release from a location or event close to the Hero's heart.
